Usage Period Support

Usage Logistics (After Sales)

Equipment, plants and systems are subject to wear and tear over the years, as well as additional influences, such as:

  • conversions and modifications,
  • replacement by newer-generation components, e.g., to eliminate obsolescence,
  • and technical upgrades.

These changes in the design condition must be analysed for their logistical impact. We examine influences, for example, upon the

  • logistical database,
  • material, operator and maintenance staff documentation,
  • and spare parts management and stocking

in order to be able to plan and implement any necessary adjustments.

Service Planning and Coordination

The need for logistical service changes to existing logistics products is essentially determined by the technical requirements of the existing underlying hardware and software.

Technical adjustments in these areas often not only affect the component in question, but the technical periphery, such as the interfaces, i. e. power supply, monitoring, control, cooling, as well. Therefore, any change to these can also impact the "external" parts of the overall system and force changes to be made there. This situation must be taken into account when planning services for logistics components when it comes to any potential adjustments.

Administration and Procedural Support

Our longtime experience in the field of usage logistics allows us to define and implement tired and tested solution approaches together with our customers.

In close collaboration with the client's technical departments, we are able to define the specifications with regard to any:

  • foreseen procedures,
  • necessary administrative provisions,
  • and logistical processing modalities.

To do this, we can rely on the support tools we at eko•ILS Logistics GmbH have developed for any administrative and subsequent processing purposes.
