eko•ILS Logistics GmbH is one of the leading service providers and points of contacts when it comes to spare parts documentation and management. Our service spectrum covers the entire range of spare parts master list creation (ETU/IPL), the cataloguing process, and the creation of IPD modules for the spare parts catalogue. All of these steps are performed in accordance with the ASD S2000M specification and the DB S2000M national implementation regulation.
We provide software-based procedures for processing existing "legacy data" and transferring this data to the "new world" of the latest ERP systems.
As a component of the ASD international specification series, ASD S2000M describes the regulations for the integrated data processing of material data for military projects. This includes, among other things, the established conventions for:
procurement data,
Chapters 1A and 1B are applied regarding public procurement. The sections on procurement planning, order processing, invoice processing, maintenance processing and the "light version" are currently not applicable for domestic projects.
When developing material documentation, we work according to the procedures in versions 2.1 through 4.0 of the ASD S2000M. We are familiar with the B007 and AW 43 regulations for processing existing legacy data. We consider the following to be integral elements in this regard:
We at eko•ILS Logistics GmbH use software solutions specifically tailored to conduct basic data collection tasks.
"MATCONF" allows us to work on the same DP level as Germany’s Federal Office of Bundeswehr Equipment, Information Technology and In-Service Support’s, or BAAINBw’s, subdivisions, thus avoiding any potential data and format related conflicts. We also use another editorial system in the S2000M domain in order to exchange data with our customers and to perform data imports and exports.
We also have our own software solutions for editing B007 data and asset sheets according to AW 43, as well as a tool for converting B007 data to S2000M.
